Election 2024: I’ll guarantee free, transparent polls – Akufo-Addo reiterates

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that this year’s general elections are conducted peacefully and without violence.

He said, “I want to restate my commitment to ensuring that the 2024 elections pass off without any incident.”

He added, “My administration is committed to guaranteeing free, fair and transparent elections.”

The President made these remarks during the inauguration of a multipurpose building at the Nyankpala Campus of the University for Development Studies in the Northern Region.

President Akufo-Addo highlighted his government’s efforts in strengthening democratic institutions and processes, pledging to continue these efforts to ensure that the will of the people is upheld.

He underscored the importance of peaceful and credible elections for the country’s stability and reiterated his administration’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of electoral integrity.
