Yaw Adomako Baali, a member of the national communications team of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on all party supporters, urging them not to become complacent ahead of the 2024 general elections.

During a radio interview on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ morning show, Baafi emphasised the need for continuous engagement and dissemination of the NPP’s achievements and development agenda to the Ghanaian people.

He said, “If we all see the numerous projects undertaken and completed by the Akufo-Addo/ Bawumia-led government, you will be amazed. If you consider the massive road construction projects the government has implemented you will be completely shocked. All these projects are visible to everyone.”

“All regions have received a fair share of their developmental projects and it is a testament to the good works of the NPP government led by Akufo-Addo and Bawumia. Realising all these wonderful works done by our government does not mean we should be complacent thinking that we have arrived. There are a lot more we can do for the country Ghana and the people therein,” he stressed

Despite these accomplishments, Baafi cautioned against complacency, stressing that there is still much work to be done to further advance the nation’s development agenda.

Reflecting on past experiences, Baafi highlighted the challenges faced during previous NPP administrations, where projects initiated by the Kufuor government were left uncompleted under subsequent NDC administrations.

He stated, “The NPP government had to return to power to execute all the stalled projects under the leadership of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia. We left projects like the Legon Stadium, Kumawu Hospital, some regional and district hospitals, which have all been completed by the Akufo-Addo administration.”

He added, “This is the good news we need to propagate to the ordinary Ghanaian. If we sit and think that Ghanaians already know of the things we have done, we will be mistaken.”
